US Navy SNJ

The Navy's SNJ-3, also called the AT-6 by the Air Force, was probably the best trainer used during WW II and as you can see, our French coleagues in the diving industry have found one.

Jean-Pierre Joncheray discovered it in May 2005, between the harbour of Cannes and the islands of Lerins (Saint-Marguerite) the remains of an SNJ (Navy version of the AT-6) in 51 metres

Many thanks to Anne and Jean-Pierre Joncheray who took these pictures
